A better comparison would be, “oh, well, why can’t I buy puppies and chop them up in my backyard?”But crimes like this, it's just not a factor because so many of these people come from good backgrounds, but the crime itself is consider heinous by the courts. Character doesn't factor because there isn't a "character" that does or does not engage in this. Non-factor. Somewhat.
